Prophesee
Changing the paradigm in how machines can see

Inspired by human vision, Prophesee’s technology uses a patented sensor design and AI algorithms that mimic the eye and brain to reveal the most important information with huge strides over standard frame-based technology in speed, performance, efficiency and safety. Prophesee’s computer vision systems open new potential in areas such as autonomous vehicles, industrial automation, IoT, mobile and AR/VR. One early application was in medical devices that restore vision to the blind.

Wired Island has been working with Prophesee since even before its launch in 2014. We function as an integrated part of the marketing team assisting with messaging, media relations, events, award applications, social media, website, email and other content. Wired Island has supported the company through several rounds of fundraising and international growth including over 50 awards and counting.

Prophesee’s Event-Based Camera Reaches High Resolution
There’s something inherently inefficient about the way video captures motion today. Cameras capture frame after frame at regular intervals, but most of the pixels in those frames don’t change from one to the other, and whatever is moving in those frames is only captured episodically.   For full article
