Prior to Wired Island, Toni sharpened her skills in Silicon Valley, where she worked on both the corporate and agency sides of the communications business, developing and implementing product, corporate and investor communications programs. At Cunningham Communications and TFB/BBDO, her clients included: Cadence Design Systems, Apple Computer, Autodesk and Hewlett-Packard, among others. Her corporate experience included senior-level marketing/communications roles at Pure Software, Pure/Atria and Rational Software, which are now part of IBM. As the Director of Corporate Communications for a $1 billion provider of software development and testing solutions, she was responsible for worldwide public relations and was part of the team that conducted the IPO for Pure Software.
From Silicon Valley, she moved to the Caribbean where she and her husband started Wired Island. The couple has worked with over 100 organizations in both the technology and travel sectors and was spotlighted in a book called Life 2.0 by Rich Karlgaard for finding the “where” of their happiness. Currently, she lives in Europe where she has developed an even greater appreciation for good conversation and its essential role to making connections, advancing ideas and generally enjoying life.
