nViso brings power of emotion detection to banking world

It has developed a web-based system that uses proprietary 3D facial imaging and eye tracking technology to capture and analyze facial micro-expressions in a robust and repeatable way that can be integrated into existing research frameworks. While its initial focus was in areas such a market research to help companies and agencies get real-time feedback on things like advertising campaigns or branding strategies, it has now applied its expertise to the area of banking. Working with the Bank of New Zealand, it has developed a system that lets BNZ’s customers better understand how they feel about money, while at the same time giving the bank valuable input into people’s comfort level with various financial products.
